TAI Engineering is actively seeking an experienced Project Manager to support our Buildings and Facilities Group.
Our Buildings and Facilities Group has proven capabilities in all phases of design, leading to the completion of Construction and Permit Documents, as well as Construction Administration, Start-Up and Commissioning services.
TAI's expertise extends from experience with small renovations to large new building projects within a wide variety of industries.
Industries include commercial, laboratory, pharmaceutical, government, industrial and health care markets.
The Project Manager will provide many of the following service offerings:
Scope Development, Project Economics, Management of Preliminary Engineering, Project Cost Estimation, Management of Detailed Engineering and/or Construction Documents, LEED coordination, Bid Services (RFQ, Vendor Evaluation, Bid Tabulation, Bid Award), Construction Management, Change Management, As-built Documentation, Budget Management, Schedule Management, Project Reporting.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Ensuring project deliverables meet TAI and client expectations Managing all phases of a project - setup, execution, and closeout Attending client and/or user meetings Taking and distributing meeting minutes where appropriate Developing and maintaining project schedules Providing a single point of contact between TAI and client getting info from client for the design, providing the client with necessary information, and resolving most project issues with the client.
Preparing initial budget, tracking overall costs, approving pending invoices, and pursuing change orders as required.
Performing overall project quality control.
For multi-discipline projects, ensuring coordination between disciplines, coordinating budget, schedules, and deliverables with all TAI divisions and sub-consultants.
Keeping the Account and/or Division Managers informed of significant issues associated with the project, which includes budget issues.
Qualifications:
Minimum of eight (8) years of applicable consulting experience, OR 15 years of industry experience utilizing consultants for projects within commercial, laboratory, industrial or health care markets.
Bachelor s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical) from an accredited university US Citizenship is required Professional Engineer (PE), Project Management Professional (PMP), or LEED accreditation is a plus.
Great leadership, interpersonal and communication skills Basic knowledge of Building Codes and Standards Basic understanding of other engineering disciplines and capable of self-performing within their engineering discipline as a mid-level Engineer or Senior Designer level.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
