LifeBridge Health is seeking a Director of Benefits to lead benefit program design and administration for the growing health system, including health and welfare programs, wellness programs and supplemental benefit programs.
Reporting to the Vice President of Total Rewards and HR Operations, the Director of Benefits will partner with senior leadership to create benefits strategies that position LifeBridge Health competitively in the marketplace and support achievement of our mission of service to patients and the community.
The Director will manage a team of benefits professionals who will support day-to-day administration and regulatory compliance of all programs, with additional support in the areas of customer service, employee education and transactional activities provided by the Employee Services Center.
Responsibilities:
Design and implement benefit programs, policies, and administrative procedures that are market competitive, cost effective and legally compliant.
Oversee administration of health and welfare benefit programs, including medical, dental, vision, life, accident and disability insurance, EAP and leave administration.
Develop and manage effective working relationships with benefit program vendors and advisors to support effective governance and administration, including vendor payment and reconciliation processes.
Collaborate effectively with key stakeholders in Legal, Finance and Human Resources to ensure benefit programs and processes are compliant, cost effective and operationally efficient.
Lead the Health Plan Improvement Team, a cross functional working group focused on continuous improvement for the health plan and employee wellness.
Maintain compliance with all benefits legislation, implementing new processes and procedures.
Manage the annual regulatory filing process.
Define and deliver highly effective benefit program communication, including benefits open enrollment, program launches, new hire orientation, intranet content and distribution of required notices.
Qualifications:
More than five years of experience leading a benefit team in a complex business environment, preferably a health system.
Bachelors' Degree required; master's preferred.
CEB certification is a plus.
Expertise in both health and welfare plan design and administration.
Understanding of all benefit program regulatory requirements.
Influencing skills and demonstrated capability to drive strategic change.
Planning, organizational, consulting and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple critical, time-sensitive projects simultaneously.
Ability to exercise good judgment and handle confidential information.
Capability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including interpersonal and executive presentation skills.
Team leadership and development experience.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint Facility:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
