Job Purpose
Duties
Work as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, document, communicate, and validate requirements and business processes
Research background information in order to be more effective and to facilitate understanding of overall program activities
Facilitate and manage group requirements elicitation and review sessions
Work with the customer to detail and convert business requirements into user stories with acceptance criteria and business rules
Identify customer's system and process strengths and weaknesses and suggest areas of improvement
Improve upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current practices into fresh alternative solutions
Provide clear and concise requirements documentation to include user stories, acceptance criteria and business rules
Develop, maintain, and provide feedback for customer process documentation including process models, use cases, and scenarios
Manage requirements and artifacts in appropriate requirements management tools (Collaboration tool, Serena ALM RM, and SharePoint)
Support the development and testing process by providing documentation, researching questions, and providing timely answers
Assure work products comply with established deliverable guidelines including format and content
Keep management informed of progress and solicit assistance when a road block is present
Mentor and serve as a resource for team members
Support the selection and transition of newly hired employees to our business
Participate in process improvement efforts for the business analysis disciplines
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree
6
years of experience as a business analyst
Experience with requirements elicitation and requirements management
Experience with a modern requirements management tool such as Serena, DOORS, Requisite Pro, Quality Center, or Caliber RM
Experience leading analysis activities of other BAs on a software development team
Education and/or formal training may substitute for some of the experience requirement
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with CMS systems and contracting
Healthcare or healthcare insurance experience
Expertise with a variety of requirements elicitation and management techniques
IIBA CBAP certification a plus
Skills
Effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
Accurately prepare written business correspondence and deliverables that are coherent, grammatically correct, effective, professional, and engaging
Elicit requirements using a variety of techniques, including: interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, storyboards, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, and task and workflow analysis
Negotiate and build consensus
Work competently with all levels of an organization to facilitate problem resolution
Work well independently and in a team environment
Initiate, develop, and maintain effective working relationships with team members, internal and external stakeholders
Pay attention to detail
Maintain good working practices including self-motivation, organization, punctuality, and compliance with corporate and project standards and processes
Plan, prioritize, and execute multiple tasks in variably paced environment
Work proficiently in Microsoft Office Suite
Effectively use requirements management tools
Understand technical design specifications

Successfully lead a small team to meet its objectives and mentor team members

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
