PROJECT COORDINATOR / PROJECT SCHEDULER
We are looking to add a PC / PS to our team at our client site in Owings Mills, Maryland. This individual will report directly to the Program Manager overseeing a very large, multi-year, multi-million dollar business process reengineering effort. There will be many efforts underway simultaneously across many teams. Due to the size and complexity of this effort, the Program Manager needs someone dedicated to ensuring that all tasks and project plans are current. Upper management and the steering groups need to know that program status representations are as accurate as possible. As such this individual must have the following skills and experience.
Note: We are not looking for someone super senior with 15
years of project management experience, etc.
REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Expertise in all aspects of MS Project and MS Project Server. This individual must know the product inside and out. Must be able to build plans from scratch, allocate resources, define critical path, present best case / worst case reports, produce variance reports, etc. Must be intimate with all forms of task dependencies (FS, SS, SF.) Must be able to modify existing plans and roll up sub-plans into super plan.
Highly skilled in all aspects of Project Plan task updating and team interaction. To be most useful, plans need to be up to date. This means regular interaction with the Team Leads to ensure that task completion is accurately represented. That mean getting timely updates from people who make be under duress. This is a critical part of the skill set.
