Title: Telecommunications Analyst Location: Maryland-Owings Mills
The Telecom Analyst within Voice Network Services assists the senior staff with the overall management of the Voice applications presently in place and managed by Corporate Network Services (CNS). With direction, this position also supports the numerous voice projects pending and presently underway.
Assists with scheduling and completion of operational and project related activity. This includes but is not limited to the opening of change control tickets, vendor scheduling and providing notification to the business, site specific CNS support personnel, and senior managers.
Assists with the daily management of voice operational diagnostic tools used for the various voice applications under the management of CNS to ensure optimal performance and capacity. This includes independently accessing each of the voice applications in place to review the error log files that could impact the performance of the application. The presence and severity of these errors, minor or critical are reported to either upper management for root cause and need for corrective action.
Partners with the customer interface team and the Senior Voice Analysts to ensure available capacity requirements for general move sheet and new hire activity in both the PBX's and Voice Mail applications through out the network, both domestic and International. Queries each of the voice applications presently in use to ensure both presence of available RTU licenses and hardware.
Partners with the Senior Voice Analysts to ensure applications database back ups, corrective patch updates and Microsoft patch updates to the various voice applications are completed on schedule.
Working knowledge of Cisco VoIP, both Call Manager and Unity Connection
Cisco VoIP certifications on both Call Manger and Unity Connection
College degree and 1 year of related work experience, or Associate degree and 3 years related work experience, or High School diploma/equivalent and 5 years related work experience required
Minimum of 3 to 5 years working experience with Cisco VoIP offerings, both Call Manager and Unity Connection
Working experience in managing Cisco VoIP and troubleshooting through problem resolution
Experience with vendor management
Must be a team player

Must be available for both scheduled and unscheduled after hours activity; ability to be on call and reachable at all times
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong interpersonal skills

Experienced with Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project and Net Viz
Ability to effectively work with the business and the various groups with in GBS & T that play a role in our corporate voice offerings

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
