In an effort to meet the needs of our large federal client, our firm is seeking exceptional candidates for a Software Engineer II - OBR Developer
PRIMARY
Responsibilities:
The Software Engineer II - Oracle Business Rules Developer analyzes and studies complex system requirements and designs software tools and subsystems to support software reuse and domain analyses and manages their implementation. Manages software development and support using formal specifications, data flow diagrams, other accepted design techniques and
computer
Aided Software Engineering (CASE) tools. Estimates software development costs and schedule. Reviews existing programs and assist in making refinements, reducing operating time, and improving current techniques. Supervises software configuration management.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:
Working knowledge Oracle Business Rules runtime and design-time elements such as facts, bucketsets, rulesets, Decision Table, and Oracle SOA Composer
Experience in building rule-enabled Java application using Oracle Business Rules
Solid understanding of the Oracle SOA suite 10g/11g development with experience using various components (BPEL, Service bus components, Business Rules, Human Work Flow)
Must have strong experience in design and implementation of Oracle Fusion Middleware solutions using BPEL, OWSM, OSB Registry, and repository, etc.
Knowledge of JDeveloper, XSLT, XML, XSD, SOAP and WDL.
Develop data persistence based on commercial and open source relational databases.
Provide thorough and automated unit test harnesses for developed solutions.
Knowledge of SOA patterns and governance.
Solid understanding of Application Server Web logic Server Administration and SOA administration.
Provide technical support/technical Development.
Strong knowledge on UNIX and HP_UX
Experience developing WLST scripts for monitoring the Web logic Server resources & services like Threads, Heap size, Servers status, JMS, JDBC Connection pool, etc
Familiarity with Java 5/6/7, J2EE, JSP, EJB1., DB2, Eclipse, J Developer, WSAD, and HTML.
Experience with messaging, JMS and messaging concepts
Knowledge of CMS ESRD application suite is highly desired
Knowledge of CMS ILC Framework highly desired
Has followed disciplined software development processes and worked in integrated service environments
Ability to work independently or under only general direction
Experience leading, directing and mentoring teams of 5-7 junior staff
Ability to multi-task, be extremely organized, work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, and be very detail oriented
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (may be substituted with sufficient work experience)
5-8 years of professional experience in software or application development
Physical Requirements:
Regularly required to sit for extended periods up to 80% of time; frequently required to move about to access file cabinets and use office equipment such as PC, copier, fax, telephone, cell phone, etc.
Occasionally required to reach overhead, bend, and lift objects of up to 10 lbs.
Specific vision abilities required by this
job
include use of computer monitor screens up to 80% of time.
Work Environment:
Individual's primary workstation is located in an office area.
The noise level in this environment is low to moderate.
