Summary:
Assist Warehouse Manager with daily warehouse tasks such as receiving and unloading deliveries, stocking items, keeping the warehouse clean and prepping materials for installers.
This a great opportunity for someone looking to gain carpentry and construction experience in a successful family-like work environment.
Essential Functions:
Follow instructions given by Warehouse Manager Keep warehouse clean and orderly and clean up daily; emptying trashcans, dust collectors and sweeping floors Assist with unloading and stocking materials in their specific locations Help prepare materials for Installers Work quickly and efficiently Independent thinker offering solutions to issues that occur Deliver materials to installers in the field using a company vehicle Who You Are:
Stellar CAN-DO work ethic Team player yet works well independently Ability to follow directions and to provide feedback to Warehouse Manager Willingness to learn new tasks Perficient with tape measure Detail-oriented Be a self-starter and able to move from task to task without continual direction Able to interact with co-workers on a professional and friendly level Must have no physical limitations to perform the tasks required; lift minimum of 75 lbs.
Must have a clear criminal background and will be subjected to a zero-tolerance drug policy Clean driving record Additional Skills (preferred but not required).
Training is provided.
Table saw and power tool familiarity Experience with a drill, reciprocating saw (Sawzall), and small hand tools (screwdriver, hammer, etc.
) Forklift experience Logistics/Warehouse experience Understand kitchen remodeling terminology Prior experience in custom shop work Prior experience in cutting moldings Handyman experience What We Offer:
