Description SAIC's Defense System Group is currently hiring engineering positions supporting the transformation of the US ArmySAIC is a strong company providing opportunities for energetic individuals with a strong desire to expand their knowledge while increasing their responsibilitiesSAIC has an opening for a motivated, career, and customer-oriented Principal Systems Engineer to provide Systems Engineering technical services support onsite with several Army Futures Command (AFC) Cross-Functional Teams (CFTs) located in:
o Fort Moore, GA - Soldier Lethality (SL) CFTo Aberdeen Proving Grounds, MD - Network CFT This work establishes the transformation of future systemsWe are supporting the enterprise architecting, analysis, and systems engineering solutions at the Enterprise level for multiple signature modernization effortsJOB DUTIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:
o Working in collaboration with CFT personnel to achieve approval of engineering products through engineering reviews and engineering milestone eventso Working across multiple Offices and Organizations to identify and define needso Identifying and defining future capability and interoperability needso Identifying key architecture and system level tradeso Developing strategies in support of Department of Defense (DoD) architectureso Assessing the performance of current and future architecture conceptso Providing technical and programmatic guidance to the architecture and system level requirements processo Prepare briefings for senior decision makerso Provide technical leadership in applying Digital Engineering concepts, processes, and tools in helping the government plan and define capabilities needed to better support mission operations (e.
g.
, automation, situational awareness, etc.
) in support of a mission system.
o Analyze user needs, concept of operations, and high-level systems architectures to develop system requirements.
o Integrate operations models with acquisition models within the digital engineering ecosystem.
o Provide technical support to government points of contacts.
o Collaborate with SETA team members, development contractors, and customer forums.
o Effectively communicate and interface with engineers from various contractors and government organizations.
o Develop assessments and briefings to a variety of audiences; conveys information in crisp, articulate mannerQualifications REQUIRED EDUCATION:
o Bachelors degree in STEM (science, technical, engineering, math) or related discipline and nine (9) years or more experience; Four (4) years' additional experience can be accepted in lieu of degreeREQUIRED SKILLS:
o Expert-level proficiency with use of architecting to support senior level enterprise decision makingo Experience with architecture toolso Experience with Zero Trust and cyber security protocolso Architecture domain understanding from a holistic enterprise perspectiveo Ability to recommend enterprise architecture tradeoffs, impacts, and advancemento Proven experience in development and use of modeling for architecture solutionso Expert-level understanding of core systems engineering and analysis disciplines and processeso Experience with lifecycle readiness from System Requirements Review through system decommissioningo Demonstrated ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic, and energetic environmento Strong oral and written communication skillso Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in community forums
Qualifications:
o Proven experience with technical fundamentals in existing Army program (e.
gground vehicles, air, missile defense, soldier systems)o Working knowledge of the Request for Change (RFC) process and the Engineering Review Board processo Certified Architect (e.
gDoDAF, TOGAF, UAF, MODAF, Zachman)o Knowledge of Department of Defense Architecture Framework (DoDAF)o Knowledge of Unified Architecture Framework (UAF)o Experience in Cameo EA/MagicDraw or similar Enterprise Architecture Tool seto Prior experience in support of the US Armyo Experience with the Army Capabilities Integration and Development System (ACIDS)/ Joint Capabilities Integration and Development System (JCIDS) REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
o Must have an Active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TS/SCI clearance Covid Policy:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
