PURCHASING AGENT/BUYER
JOB
Summary:
Under limited supervision, researches, develops, negotiates and manages contractual obligations for supplies and services by staff members across all LifeBridge Health facilities.
Completes analytical work in conjunction with the contract analyst, to support purchasing decisions and evaluate vendor performance.
Identifies and facilitates implementation of opportunities for cost savings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Basic professional knowledge; equivalent to a Bachelor's degree' working knowledge of theory and practice within a specialized field.
3-5 years of experience.
