Junior Virtualization Analyst

Owings Mills, MD (partial onsite)Junior IT/Virtualization AnalystOne of our Fortune 100 clients in Owings Mills, MD is implementing a new entirely virtual backup system to be kept offline in case of cybersecurity emergencies.
As a Junior IT Analyst, you will be a part of the technical services team responsible for virtualization relevant to this system implementation.
Responsibilities:
Communicating with and updating internal stakeholders and external vendorsHelping onboard new hardware assets into the facility, helping ensure all new hardware is properly racked and stacked, connected, etc.
Utilizing VMware, Hyper-V, and other virtualization tools in efforts of the system implementationCommuting onsite as needed.
80% vs 20% on site; will fluctuate based on project timelines, hardware deliveries, etc.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related fieldExperience with Virtualization; VMware experience preferredFamiliarity with Linux and Windows environmentsSAN Virtualization experience preferred, but not requiredWhat's in for you ?Technical Training to provide accelerated impact to team's initiativesOngoing professional development trainingHealth, vision, and dental healthcare benefits are available401K Plan and PTO available at one year markWeekly paychecks with direct depositPaid time off for federal holidays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
