Microstrategy BI Developer

Eliassen Group is searching for a Microstrategy BI Developer to assist one of our large financial services/investment banking clients.
They are already back in office in a hybrid model of 2 days onsite and 3 telecommuting, come January they will be switching to 3 days onsite and 2 days telecommuting.
There is the opportunity for more remote work but a candidate's skill will have to taken into consideration as the rest of the team is in the hybrid model.

Responsibilities:

Work with end users to design and build complex reports in MicroStrategy.
Troubleshoot data issues found in existing reports.
Support and facilitate testing with end users.
Build data sets (cubes, grids), metrics, and attributes to support report requests.
Analyze and build complex SQL queries.
Analyze highly complex business requirements; generate technical specifications to design or redesign complex software components and applications.
Act as an expert technical resource for modeling, simulation and analysis efforts.
Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution.
Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area.
Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment.
Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a technical field such as computer science, computer engineering or related field required.
5-7 years experience in MicroStrategy required.
Development experience in SQL Server.
Hands on experience developing data models to support multiple reports.
Hands on experience in designing, developing and successful deployment of large scale projects from end-to-end.
Hands on experience in following the iterative and agile SDLC.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
